Paddy McKenna

Paddy’s career began in development with Wild Rover Productions, working on entertaining hits such as Secret Fortune (BBC), Dara Ó Briain: School of Hard Sums (DAVE), and The David Meade Project (BBC). Then it was off to ShinAwil - the Irish producer of Dancing With The Stars, The Voice, Masterchef, and Dragons Den - to head up UK development.

In 2017 Paddy Joined Stellify Media as Head of Development, overseeing the development and pitching process for, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire (ITV), Blind Date (CHANNEL 5), Don’t Say It Bring It (DAVE), Celebs In Solitary (CHANNEL 5), Parents Evening (BBC), Secret Body (BBC) and Flinch (NETFLIX), which he also produced and edit produced.

In 2019, he set up Play The Game TV as a one-stop shop for entertaining telly - development, production and post - and it’s been nonstop ever since. From producing several series of Love Island, both in Mallorca and Cape Town, a pilot in Mexico City, and The Hunt (CHANNEL 4) in Bulgaria, Paddy has travelled the world making great TV with great people.

And when he’s not sunning himself on location, he’s either working on development projects or overseeing an edit from the office in Beautiful Belfast.
